June 2016

Warmer weather, end of school, end of soccer season, bridging to brownies, swim lessons, Ferris wheel rides, father’s day and of course home renovations.

We did it again, jammed a ton of activities and events into a mere 30 days! If there were awards for that we would be the champions 100%

Evan Bryan has been pretty busy himself; he’s just finishing up swim lessons/introduction to water at the local rec center.  He really likes it and even made a friend whose grandparents live next to us, Max. I think his only complaint would be that the water is a bit cold, and after about 15 minutes he’s ready to get out dry off and warm up. He is such a little dude, he really has a love for all things with a motor; trucks, cars, semi’s, garbage trucks, airplanes, and motorcycles he loves them all, and really loves the bigger ones. He lights up when we see a trash truck, semi, or fire truck and if given the option of which vehicle he wants to ride in he will pick Daddy’s truck 99% of the time. His vocabulary is growing by leaps and bound every day it’s a new word and new phrase its astounding that one day he can’t say “I can’t reach it” he just grunts and jumps then, literally 12 hours later, he can say “can’t reach it daddy ”; pretty surreal and impressive. He’s growing out of all his toddler clothes and were getting him styling little boy threats, in fact we got us matching shirts! This little fella who was once just a dream, something I wanted more than anything in the world is now 2 ½ years old WOW running, laughing and communication again it’s so bitter sweet.  I love picking him up when he runs to me and kissing those chubby cheeks, hopefully he will let me do that forever? lol
